Spring Wedding Dress Trends for 2011
Following the Bridal Catwalk shows of 2011, I wanted to share my thoughts with you all, on the hottest spring bridal wear trends to hit this year’s wedding catwalks.
Here are the trends I think our beautiful brides will be wearing this spring. I cannot wait to photograph our amazing brides this year!
The 70’s revival has hit the wedding catwalks this year and sleeved gowns have made a welcomed return to bridal wear, from full length to short cap sleeves. For spring these dresses are perfect, as we all know our British spring time weather can be so unpredictable. Simple shapes with long chiffon sleeves looked fresh and elegant, whilst designer Sassi Holford presents this season, the most exquisite full length lace dress with capped sleeves. This is definitely a trend to look out for and one which I am sure will be with us well into autumn/ winter 2011.

Asymmetric necklines are a definite must for the “on trend” bride this spring 2011. From sophisticated chic to pretty fairy-tale gowns, the asymmetric neckline looks amazing! Moving away from the Grecian asymmetric style we have seen in the past, this spring 2011 it looks clean and modern; with sweeping hemlines these dresses look sublime even perfect for those “Boho Brides”.
Cymbeline – Style Helia
The strongest trend for this spring is colour. Think about alternatives to the traditional white and ivory. Spring 2011 is about soft hues of grey, champagne and pink. These soft colours floated down the runway. The most beautiful blush pinks look fresh and exciting, ideal for a spring wedding and perfect for a bride looking to be an English rose on her wedding day.
